The market at Saima Park last Saturday went ahead despite the light rain we had late morning. The Classic Cars part of the event got rained out though. Since the market was under the cover of the pavillion, all of the vendors mustered up their SISU and had their great stuff available for all of the visitors that braved the chilly wet day. Also, the crew that head the ship at Saima Park were there in the hall serving up the warm food including the Salmon Soup, Chili, Coffee, and Pulla.
The turn out was quite good and it was great to see all of the Finn's catching up and enjoying the food and the Tori.
A quick update on the Berserk Viking Festival scheduled for Saturday, September 26th next weekend...Stormy weather is forecast and may delay it. If it does get delayed, the rain date is October 10th.
